Work Environment This position is designed for a remote setting, allowing you to provide care from the comfort of your own home while maintaining a stable work-life balance. Our work schedule is structured to support a healthy routine, with established hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. You will collaborate virtually with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals, enhancing your practice while addressing patients' complex needs. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations to understand the mental health needs of trauma patients, developing tailored treatment plans that align with their specific circumstances. Engage actively with patients during counseling sessions to listen empathetically to their experiences while diagnosing mental or emotional disorders based on established criteria. Design and implement effective coping strategies and therapeutic interventions, guiding patients through their recovery journey. Educate both staff and clients on stress management techniques and coping mechanisms to foster resilience and support overall mental health. Monitor patients' progress diligently and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring that each individual receives the best possible care tailored to their evolving needs. Coordinate with external social and medical service providers, ensuring that patients have access to a holistic range of services that may include healthcare, social support, and community resources. Commit to ongoing professional development by completing continuing education courses to maintain your National Certified Counselor certification and remain informed on current practices in mental health care. Patient Population / Client Focus This role primarily focuses on trauma injury patients who face a variety of emotional and psychological challenges. As a licensed mental health counselor, your expertise will be invaluable in helping these individuals navigate their experiences, guiding them through the recovery process and equipping them with the necessary tools to thrive in their daily lives. Qualifications A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution. A valid License as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington State. At least three years of hands-on experience working with trauma patients or in related mental health settings. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, ensuring efficient documentation and communication. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, essential for client interactions and collaboration with colleagues. Preferred Experience Familiarity with Salesforce and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is highly desirable, as these tools enhance patient management and data tracking. Experience in community outreach or collaboration with multidisciplinary teams significantly contributes to successful patient outcomes. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from
USD 90,000
to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
