A Mental or Behavioral Health Counselor works with patients to treat mental health problems. Assesses patients and assists with diagnosis, counseling and crisis intervention. Consults with nurses, doctors and psychiatrists. May work with specific populations, such as youth, senior citizens or substance abusers, in group settings, facilities or hospitals.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing crisis support and psychosocial rehabilitative services under the supervision of the Clinical Director.
- Assisting clients in managing emergency mental health crises and transitioning back into the community.
- Delivering psychosocial rehabilitative services, including: Transporting clients to essential services.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to provide effective emergency mental health services through education, training, personal aptitude, and relevant life experience.
