Overview Impact Family Services LLC is looking for dependable, caring, and energetic Youth Support Providers to provide respite and recreational support to children and teens enrolled in Wisconsin's Children's Long-Term Support (CLTS) Program . This is an every-other-weekend position supporting youth during our weekend respite camp program. The role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with children and teens and wants to make a positive difference while helping families receive meaningful respite.

Our Janesville office location About the Position Youth Support Providers work directly with children and teens who have a variety of developmental, behavioral, emotional, and/or support needs. Staff help create a safe, structured, and fun environment while providing individualized support based on each participant's needs. Weekend activities may include recreational activities, games, arts and crafts, outdoor activities, community outings, social activities, and other age-appropriate programming. Responsibilities Provide direct support and supervision to children and teens participating in weekend respite camp Help maintain a safe, positive, and welcoming environment Assist participants with social, emotional, behavioral, and daily living needs as appropriate Participate in recreational activities, games, crafts, and community activities Encourage positive peer interactions and appropriate social skills Follow individualized support strategies and staff direction Assist with transitions between activities and help participants remain engaged Provide appropriate redirection and behavioral support when needed Communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, and families Complete required documentation related to services provided Follow all agency policies, safety procedures, and CLTS requirements Work collaboratively with other staff to provide consistent and quality support Qualifications We are looking for individuals who are: At least 18 years old Dependable and able to commit to an every-other-weekend schedule Patient, compassionate, and comfortable working with children and teens Able to maintain appropriate professional boundaries Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities and support needs Able to work effectively as part of a team Reliable and responsible Able to communicate effectively with youth, families, and coworkers Previous experience is preferred but not required.
