Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Master Level Clinician to join our dynamic mental health team. In this vital role, you will deliver comprehensive, evidence-based therapeutic services to diverse populations at our male residential facility. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through direct patient care, clinical assessments, and innovative treatment planning within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment. Duties Conduct thorough mental health assessments utilizing clinical documentation standards and diagnostic evaluation tools such as ICD-10 and ICD-9 coding systems. Provide individual and group therapy sessions employing evidence-based practices including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and behavioral therapy. Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with client needs and clinical ethical guidelines while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize telehealth platforms, when needed to deliver remote counseling services effectively while maintaining high-quality patient care standards. Engage in crisis intervention and crisis management to support clients experiencing acute emotional or behavioral distress. Document all clinical encounters accurately in Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems following medical documentation and medical terminology standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management, social work interventions, medication management (including psychopharmacology), and coordination with inpatient or outpatient services. Qualifications Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related mental health field from an accredited institution. Valid licensure or certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent preferred but not required. Extensive experience working with individuals with substance use disorder and co-occurring disorders. Proficiency in psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, grief counseling, addiction counseling, psychodynamic therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Strong knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding for billing purposes, and familiarity with medical records management. Experience working in clinical settings utilizing EMR/EHR systems; ASAM experience is highly desirable. Ability to manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols. Excellent communication skills for client engagement and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams; experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus.
