Are Empathetic Are Caring The Role:
The School Based Clinician responds to the needs of clients to maximize the recovery, resilience, and wellness of individuals who are developing or experiencing mental health, alcohol, or drug concerns. The school-based Clinician conducts sessions at both the schools and the office with ages 6-18. This a full-time position requiring flexibility and comfort with community-based services with youth.
What you will do:
Responsible for clinical assessment Provides crisis intervention to persons in acute distress Diagnoses using the DSM 5 Develop comprehensive treatment plans, and referrals for additional services Provides intensive agency based, community-based, individual, family and group therapy to clients Provides case management services to collaterals Provides on-call coverage on a rotating basis May perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Licensed by the Wyoming Mental Health Professions Licensing Board as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed by the Wyoming Board of Psychology as a Licensed Psychologist Must meet required professional training and certification by licensing board Valid Wyoming Drivers' License required At least 2 years of professional-level experience in related field is preferred Licensed Addictions Therapist certification preferred Completion of a Pre-Employment Drug Screen Completion of a Background Check Satisfactory Driving Record If you meet the above qualifications, this is the role for you!
