Field-Based / Community-Based Position Summary The AB109 Clinician provides comprehensive behavioral health services to justice-involved adults participating in California's AB109 Post-Release Community Supervision Program. The position delivers assessments, individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, targeted case management, outreach, and care coordination while collaborating with probation, the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, psychiatrists, and community partners. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and biopsychosocial evaluations. Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor client progress. Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy. Provide crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning. Conduct outreach and field-based services in homes and community settings. Coordinate care with probation officers, DMH, psychiatrists, hospitals, and community agencies. Provide targeted case management and referrals for housing, employment, education, transportation, and benefits. Maintain timely, accurate electronic clinical documentation in accordance with LACDMH, Medi-Cal, and Hillview standards. Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings, supervision, trainings, and quality improvement activities. Participate in after-hours on-call rotation when assigned. Minimum Qualifications Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, Counseling, or related behavioral health field. Current California registration or licensure (AMFT, ACSW, APCC, LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC). Experience in community mental health or behavioral health preferred. Knowledge of trauma-informed care and motivational interviewing. Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong assessment and clinical documentation skills. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR). Ability to engage culturally diverse and justice-involved populations. Ability to work independently in office and field environments. Driver Requirements Valid California Driver's License. Minimum three years of acceptable driving history. Current automobile insurance. Reliable transportation. DMV clearance acceptable to Hillview. Working Conditions This position requires frequent travel throughout Los Angeles County, including client homes, probation offices, hospitals, shelters, and community locations. Evening or after-hours services may occasionally be required.
