Responsibilities Assist in conducting mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations using clinical terminology and standardized tools such as ICD-10 coding systems. Support individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices Participate in crisis intervention efforts, providing immediate support for patients experiencing mental health emergencies or trauma-related distress. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate psychopharmacology, addiction counseling, PTSD care, and autism spectrum disorder interventions. Document clinical interactions accurately within Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards. Engage in case management activities, including patient care coordination, intake procedures, and follow-up assessments to ensure continuity of care. Participate in individual clinical supervision Experience Currently enrolled in an accredited Master's program in Social Work or related field with a focus on clinical social work or mental health counseling. Prior experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable. Familiarity with home & community care settings, hospital environments, or medical social work is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, psychiatric patient care protocols, and clinical documentation standards is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and those experiencing substance use disorders or behavioral health challenges. Experience utilizing EMR/EHR systems for documentation and data collection purposes. Strong communication skills with the ability to perform mental health assessments and deliver client-centered interventions confidently.
