Care Hawaii is a behavioral health care organization seeking a compassionate and dependable Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to support the daily functions of CAREs provision of services. CARE Hawaii, Inc. contracts with multiple stakeholders to provide an array of services. The QMHP is a member of a multidisciplinary team and shall be supervised and work collaboratively under the direction of the Medical Director. The QMHP is responsible for the clinical oversight, development of the service, and leadership insight to the program. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, general, individual and group supervision of the case management program team leaders and/or direct care providers as needed, oversees the development of each consumer's treatment plan to ensure it meets the requirement and signs treatment plans, is a consultant to the team,is the LOCUS expert, provides oversight and training, reviews and signs authorization requests for clinical services prior to submittal to ensure services requested are medically necessary, provides therapy, and provides daily support to all case managers.Position Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
Must meet the educational requirements of a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) licensed in the State of Hawaii in one of the following fields: Licensed Psychologist (Ph.D), Licensed Psychiatrist (Psy.D.) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Behavioral Health.
