We are currently seeking a full-time, day-shift Skill Builder to join our team in Addictions and Recovery Center, located in West Lafayette, Indiana. About the
Role:
As a Skill Builder, you will be integral in providing behavioral therapy, intensive rehabilitation, wellness education and post-treatment support to individuals battling substance use disorders. You will be the catalyst to rebuild their lives. Our commitment to whole person healthcare and your desire to make our communities better will make us an amazing Team!
Skill Builder Key Responsibilities:
Counsel, monitor, and support individuals experiencing substance use and mental illness disorders Evaluate, prepare, and implement case management plans Organize and conduct client skills training and education groups Assist with maintaining 24/7 staff coverage, including working other shifts as needed Assess and monitor residents' behaviors and intervene as appropriate Crisis intervention Prepare and maintain written case records, reports and forms, including case follow-up and closing Maintain Meridian Health Services standards, policies, procedures, and regulations in accordance with local, state and federal laws and with ethical standards of profession

Experience in behavioral health or social services is a plus.
