The Behavioral Health Professional utilizes evidence-based therapeutic interventions while promoting resilience, emotional regulation, healthy relationships, and recovery through trauma-informed and person-centered care. Services may be delivered in schools, homes, outpatient settings, community locations, and residential treatment programs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide individual, family, and collateral psychotherapy utilizing evidence-based treatment approaches. Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Conduct ongoing risk assessments for suicide, homicide, abuse, neglect, self-harm, and other safety concerns. Develop and implement crisis intervention and safety planning when clinically indicated. Utilize person-centered planning to establish meaningful treatment goals and support recovery. Deliver trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and developmentally appropriate behavioral health services. Collaborate with families, schools, physicians, case managers, residential providers, DCBS, juvenile justice, and other community partners to coordinate care. Monitor client progress and modify treatment interventions as clinically appropriate. Maintain timely, accurate, and Medicaid-compliant documentation, including: Biopsychosocial Assessments Progress Notes Treatment Plans Safety Plans Discharge Summaries ORS/SRS Outcome Measures Other required clinical documentation Educate clients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment recommendations, coping strategies, emotional regulation, and available community resources. Maintain professional boundaries while adhering to ethical standards established by the Kentucky Board of Social Work and agency policies. Participate in clinical supervision, interdisciplinary staffing, and quality improvement activities. Demonstrate professionalism through punctuality, accountability, effective time management, and initiative. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Kentucky Medicaid regulations, and Titans and Associates policies and procedures. Provide services in the least restrictive environment appropriate to the client's clinical needs. Preferred Clinical Experience Experience working with one or more of the following populations is preferred: Trauma and PTSD Anxiety Disorders Depressive Disorders ADHD Oppositional and Conduct Disorders Mood Disorders Substance Use Disorders Family Conflict Foster Care Residential Treatment School-Based Behavioral Health Crisis Intervention QualificationsRequired Master's degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program.

Active Kentucky licensure as a:

Certified Social Worker (CSW) , or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) . Eligible to serve as a Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) under Kentucky Medicaid regulations. Demonstrated knowledge of behavioral health assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Strong organizational, documentation, and time-management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams and community partners. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to provide services in schools, homes, outpatient offices, community settings, and residential treatment programs. Ability to successfully pass all required background checks and maintain compliance with agency and Medicaid requirements. Preferred Experience providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and families. Experience in school-based behavioral health, outpatient mental health, community mental health, or residential treatment. Experience utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities such as CBT, TF-CBT, DBT-informed interventions, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Knowledge of Kentucky Medicaid documentation requirements and person-centered treatment planning.
