In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health and behavioral health services to diverse patient populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Your expertise will support individuals with developmental disabilities, PTSD, addiction issues, autism spectrum disorder, and other mental health conditions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through patient-centered care, clinical research participation, and collaborative case management. The ideal candidate will be energetic, motivated, and committed to advancing mental health treatment within a supportive environment. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing medical terminology and HIPAA-compliant documentation practices Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions incorporating evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and crisis intervention strategies Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical research protocols and patient needs Engage in intake procedures, medical documentation, and case management activities to ensure seamless patient care continuity Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, psychologists, educators, and community care providers to coordinate services Utilize electronic medical records (EMR systems) for accurate data collection, medical records management, and progress tracking Provide specialized care for patients with autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's disease, geriatrics needs, or PTSD care Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis management techniques and social work best practices Support patients' social determinants of health through community outreach and home-based care when applicable Skills Proven experience in psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, or applied behavior analysis (ABA) Strong knowledge of working with children and families in clinical or home/community settings Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and data collection purposes Experience in hospital or clinical research environments related to mental health or behavioral health studies Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder Expertise in addiction counseling, trauma-informed care including PTSD management, and crisis intervention techniques Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, ICD-9/10 coding systems for diagnostic evaluation and CPT coding for billing purposes Skilled in patient assessment, intake procedures, case management strategies, and group therapy facilitation Excellent communication skills for social work practice within multidisciplinary teams and community outreach efforts Commitment to ethical standards in mental health counseling and medical documentation Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to transforming lives through compassionate mental health support.
