Job Description:
Therapeutic Training and Support In Holyoke, MA, assist the youth and the family in achieving the goals of the plan. teach the youth to understand, direct, interpret, manage, and control feelings and emotional responses to situations. Review/development of a risk management/safety plan in collaboration with the youth and parent/caregiver. provide family therapy, to implement focused, structural, strategic, or behavioral techniques, or evidenced-based interventions to enhance problem solving, limit setting, risk management/safety planning, communication, and to advance therapeutic goals or improve ineffective patterns of interactions. Identification of community resources and development of natural supports for youth and parent/caregiver(s) to support and sustain achievement of the youth's treatment plan goals and objectives. Bachelors degree in Social Work or equivalent in a related field using a credential evaluation agency. 1 yr experience as a Medical Social worker or related.
