Job Description
Under the direction of the GCHC CEO, Medical Director, and/or designee, responsible for the supervision of social workers and other behavioral health care clinic staff as needed. Adherence to model fidelity of identified evidence-based practices for the prevention and treatment of individuals with substance use, mental health, and co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders within the framework of an Integrated Recovery Oriented System of Care. Responsible for clinical supervision, staff development, case consultation, and facilitation of treatment team meetings. Works collaboratively with prescribers and other team members at GCHC, ensuring integrated and effective treatment approaches. Intervenes to provide direct supervision of crisis assessment, triage, and brief therapeutic evidence-based interventions suited to patients served. Duties involve collaboration with community partners including local schools, hospitals, jails, Region 10 Access Center and providers of care at Genesee Health System. Performs related work as required.
