Advantage Behavioral Healthcare has a career opportunity for a Child & Adolescent Qualified Professional for the Child & Adolescent Day Treatment population. This position provides community and school-based treatment services to children and adolescents with behavioral health and/or mental health disorders. The Qualified Professional must have at least one-year full time experience working with children & adolescents with a mental health diagnosis. This position provides psychosocial interventions, school based interventions to work towards meeting educational goals, and case management functions while working with a multi-disciplinary team to meet the needs of the individuals and families. Service delivery will be a combination of one-on-one and group interventions which include skill building activities, intervene with positive behavioral supports to enhance knowledge of interpersonal and community relational skills of the member served. Applicants should demonstrate strong written and communication skills to include the ability to build appropriate professional relationships with community partners and referral sources.

JOB DUTIES

This position requires direct service in the following area:

Case Management:

Provide linking, arranging and coordination of recommended services and supports for the client in the home, school and community based on identified needs.

Individual Service Plan/PCP:

Coordinate development and implementation of an individualized plan/PCP, based on the Comprehensive Clinical Assessment.

Psycho-Education:

Provide evidence based Psycho-Educational therapeutic intervention to aid client in meeting their mental health goals.

Authorization:

Submit Appropriate Authorizations for services (SAR/TAR) along with supporting documentation to MCO's in a timely fashion to ensure approval and authorization of services.

Documentation & Billing:

Provide accurate and complete Service Notes as well as other required documentation information to Advantage Behavioral Healthcare medical records and billing department on a timely basis.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

The Child & Adolescent Day Treatment Qualified Professional applicants must have a Bachelor's Degree in a Human Service field and two years of full time experience working with the mental health population or a Bachelor's Degree in a Non-Human Service field and four years of full time experience working with the mental health population or a Master's Degree in a Human Service field and one year full time experience working with the Mental Health Population. The Child & Adolescent Day Treatment Qualified Professional MUST have one year experience working with children and adolescents.
