Kilbarchan is a co-ed residential treatment facility located in Paterson, NJ bordering Elmwood Park. It provides individual, group, and family therapy for adolescents aged 12-17. This position is a combination of both clinical and case management. Our Clinician will become a part of our multidisciplinary team (Clinicians, Case Managers, Psychiatrist, Nurse, Residential Counselors) that provide an array of therapeutic services to individuals in our care. Small caseloads allow us to provide the highest quality of care and a commitment to the professional growth and clinical development of our team members. This position reports to Program Director who can provide Board Approved Clinical Supervision, while the agency at large offers monthly clinical rounds, and training to enhance and broaden learning opportunities and professional development. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including generous paid time off, flexible scheduling, annual reimbursement towards CEUs, public loan forgiveness, and a sign on bonus of $2,500.00!
Primary Responsibilities:
Complete Strengths and Needs and Joint Care Reviews through Perform care Develop and implement safety/soothing plans with youth and family Develop and work with youth and family on a comprehensive treatment plan and discharge plan (with new discharge) Provide individual and family therapy Provide group therapy Attend treatment team meetings
Requirements:
Master's or doctoral degree in counseling or social work and a license to practice independently in NJ including
LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LAC, LSW.
On-site supervision is available for LSWs and LACs by an NJ independently licensed therapist with a documented plan to achieve clinical licensure within 3 years
Work Schedule:
