Monday-Friday, with occasional evening or weekend availability as needed Position Summary Miracle Minds Therapy is seeking an experienced Case Management Supervisor to lead and support our team of Qualified Mental Health Associates (QMHAs). Our case managers provide Medicaid-funded behavioral health services, including Targeted Case Management (TCM), Basic Skills Training (BST), Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR), care coordination, and related community-based services . The ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge of Nevada Medicaid behavioral health programs, provider enrollment, service authorization, documentation requirements, billing, reimbursement, and compliance . This position requires a hands-on supervisor who can strengthen staff performance, improve service quality, ensure timely documentation, and help maximize appropriate reimbursement while maintaining full compliance with Medicaid requirements. Key Responsibilities Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate QMHA case managers and community-based behavioral health staff. Provide day-to-day oversight of TCM, BST, PSR, care coordination, and other assigned services. Ensure services are medically necessary, properly authorized, delivered within the individual's scope of practice, and supported by treatment-plan goals. Review progress notes, treatment plans, assessments, service authorizations, discharge documentation, and related clinical records for accuracy and compliance. Ensure documentation clearly supports the service provided, the client's needs, interventions performed, client response, progress, and continued medical necessity. Monitor staff productivity, caseloads, service utilization, documentation completion, authorization limits, and billing readiness. Work closely with the billing, quality-assurance, clinical, and credentialing teams to reduce denials and improve clean-claim reimbursement. Identify documentation or billing deficiencies before claims are submitted and develop corrective-action plans when necessary. Research and resolve denied, rejected, or recouped claims in coordination with billing and leadership. Maintain a thorough understanding of Nevada Medicaid policies, Managed Care Organization requirements, billing codes, modifiers, service limitations, authorization requirements, and reimbursement procedures. Ensure that staff do not duplicate services and that billed services accurately reflect the time, location, provider, intervention, and service delivered. Conduct regular individual supervision, team meetings, documentation reviews, and case consultations. Train staff on Medicaid documentation, ethical billing, fraud-waste-and-abuse prevention, confidentiality, boundaries, crisis procedures, and organizational policies. Coordinate services with therapists, medical providers, hospitals, schools, social-service agencies, housing programs, and other community partners. Support audits, chart reviews, payer requests, credentialing activities, and corrective-action plans. Track performance indicators and provide leadership with regular reports on productivity, documentation compliance, authorization utilization, claim denials, and service outcomes. Assist with interviewing, onboarding, training, and retaining qualified case-management staff. Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, client-centered care, and continuous improvement. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, behavioral health, human services, or a closely related field. Current qualification as a QMHA or higher-level behavioral health professional under applicable Nevada requirements. Active enrollment as a Nevada Medicaid provider, or the ability to become enrolled promptly. Minimum of three years of behavioral health case-management, rehabilitation, or community-based service experience. Previous supervisory, team-lead, quality-assurance, or program-management experience. Thorough knowledge of Nevada Medicaid behavioral health programs and reimbursement requirements. Demonstrated experience with TCM, BST, PSR, care coordination, treatment planning, service authorizations, and Medicaid-compliant documentation. Strong understanding of medical necessity, scope of practice, billing integrity, utilization management, and audit readiness. Experience using electronic health record systems and monitoring staff documentation and productivity. Strong leadership, communication, organization, training, and problem-solving skills. Ability to pass all required background checks and maintain required credentials. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance when travel is required. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, healthcare administration, or a related field. Experience supervising QMHA-level behavioral health professionals. Experience working in a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic or integrated behavioral health setting. Familiarity with Nevada Medicaid Managed Care Organizations and fee-for-service billing. Experience addressing claim denials, recoupments, payer audits, compliance reviews, and corrective-action plans. Knowledge of crisis services, substance-use treatment, peer support, intensive outpatient services, and community-based care coordination.
