Responsibilities The Behavioral Health Clinician evaluates patients, develops and implements a goal-oriented treatment plan, provides or refers patients for necessary and appropriate therapy, and completes a discharge plan. This work is accomplished in collaboration with the patient, their supports, community providers, and a multi-disciplinary treatment team. Qualifications Minimum Education:

Master's degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling.

Minimum Experience:

Two years' experience in psychiatric social work, counseling or comparable experience/setting/population preferred.

Required Certification/Registration:

Certified in New York State LMSW or LCSW or LMHC. Current BLS required. Must attend hospital crisis training program within 3 months of hire or transfer and annually thereafter.

Physical Requirements:

May be sedentary depending on location. May require frequent, prolonged walking, standing. Occasional reaching, stooping, bending, crouching.
