Behavior Specialist (Social Worker/Counselor) AB Staffing is looking for an experienced Behavior Specialist for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. Openings in Elementary, Middle, and High SchoolCaseload and details of position/classroom type will differ based on school locationContract through the 2026/2027 school year: 16 - 24 hours per weekContract follows the academic district calendar

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in psychology, Social Work, Education, or related field (master's preferred)Must have a valid license as a LPC or LSWMust have a Valid Ohio LicensureExperience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral needsStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team.

Must have the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time; see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone; and the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; May include frequent walking, standing, stooping, lifting up to approximately 25 pounds and occasional lifting of equipment and/or materials weighing up to approximately 40 pounds may be required.

Essential Functions:

Conduct behavioral assessmentsDevelop and implement individualized behavior plansMonitor progress and adjust plans as neededTrain and support staff and familiesMaintain documentation and reports
