Scope Health & Wellness (in operational partnership with C3N Consulting) is actively hiring Licensed Social Workers (LSWs) and Master of Social Work (MSW) professionals to serve as Youth Behavioral Specialists in our structured after-school behavioral respite program. Student Practicum Opportunity (Paid): In addition to hiring licensed and credentialed professionals, we have select paid openings for current MSW students actively seeking practicum or field placement hours. Our on-site Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW-S) provides weekly clinical supervision and signs off directly on required university field practicum hours, making this a unique opportunity to complete your required field hours in a fully paid clinical role ($28.00/hr). You will facilitate evidence-based behavioral skill-building within an intentional 1:3 staff-to-student pod , delivering targeted cognitive-behavioral and emotional regulation strategies to youth ages 6-15.

Schedule & Site Placements:

Shifts take place during after-school hours (approx. 3:45 PM - 6:45 PM). Weekly schedules vary depending on program site assignment: Monday through Thursday (12 hours per week) at select partner sites Monday through Friday (15 hours per week) at select partner sites

What We Offer:

LISW-S Clinical Supervision Included:

Weekly supervision provided by an independently licensed social worker (LISW-S) to sign off on university field practicum requirements and post-grad clinical licensure hours.

Competitive Compensation:

$28.00/hour flat rate for consistent weekly part-time hours (12-15 hrs/week).

Predictable Afternoon Hours:

Shifts start late afternoon (3:45 PM - 6:45 PM), keeping mornings, early afternoons, and weekends open for coursework, other roles, or personal commitments.

Clinical Modality Experience:

Direct application of CBT and DBT-informed modules, behavioral tracking, and trauma-informed youth interventions.

Core Responsibilities:

Facilitate daily behavioral skill-building sessions within an assigned 1:3 student pod. Implement structured exercises targeting emotional regulation, distress tolerance, peer relationships, and de-escalation. Complete timely clinical progress notes directly in the agency's Electronic Health Record (EHR) system under clinical supervision. Guide youth through daily transitions, sensory/movement activities, and community dinners. Maintain clinical boundaries, active engagement, and safety protocols throughout each 3-hour shift.

Qualifications:

Licensure /

Education:

Active Licensed Social Worker (LSW) license with the Ohio CSWMFT Board, a completed Master of Social Work (MSW) degree, OR active enrollment in an accredited MSW program seeking practicum hours with eligible Ohio Social Work Trainee (SWT) status.

Availability:

Available for after-school shifts (approx. 3:45 PM - 6:45 PM), either Monday-Thursday (12 hrs/wk) or Monday-Friday (15 hrs/wk) on-site in Columbus, OH.

Clearance:

Ability to pass standard Ohio BCI and FBI criminal background checks.

Pay:

$25.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 per week
