Immediately Job Description Olentangy Schools is seeking qualified candidates for a Mental Health Specialist II position(s) available within Olentangy Schools for the 2026-27 school year. The Mental Health Specialist II assists families and staff in coordinating and obtaining services for at-risk youth and provides direct services to students in the areas of mental health and student wellness. Provides case management, diagnostic assessments, and therapeutic intervention services to address student needs that are consistent with the district's mission and mandated requirements. Qualified candidates must hold or be eligible to hold valid and appropriate licensure for each position with the State of Ohio and Ohio Department of Education and Workforce, if applicable. Employment status: Administrative, 216-day employment contract Qualifications for the position include: Graduate or Professional degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or other related clinical degree Hold a valid social worker or counselor license (e.g., LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, etc.) or related clinical license through the Ohio CSWMFT Board Hold a valid Pupil Service School Social Work License from the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce (ODEW) or enrollment in the Rapback system through the ODEW Alternative to the above qualifications as the superintendent and/or board of education may find appropriate Internal candidates (currently employed by Olentangy Schools) must submit an internal online application in Applicant Tracking (SchoolSpring).
