Our programs include Outpatient Drug-Free (ODF), Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), Recovery Bridge Housing (RBH), care coordination, and recovery support services. We are committed to providing compassionate, person-centered care that promotes long-term recovery and wellness. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our multidisciplinary team serving adults with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Position Summary The

LCSW/LMFT

provides clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, individual counseling, group counseling, crisis intervention, and care coordination services for individuals participating in outpatient substance use disorder treatment programs. The clinician works collaboratively with medical providers, SUD counselors, case managers, peer support staff, and community partners to support recovery and improve treatment outcomes. Duties align with common SUD counseling responsibilities including assessments, treatment planning, counseling, documentation, and coordination of care.

Qualifications Required:

Active California LCSW or LMFT license in good standing. Minimum one (1) year experience providing behavioral health services. Knowledge of substance use disorders, recovery principles, and co-occurring mental health conditions. Experience conducting clinical assessments and treatment planning. Strong documentation and organizational skills. Proficiency with electronic health records. Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation.

Preferred:

Experience working in DMC-ODS programs. Experience with ASAM Criteria. Experience providing services to justice-involved populations. Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness. Bilingual English/Spanish. Familiarity with LA County SAPC requirements. Experience Licensed as an LCSW or MFT with current certification to practice independently in the state of CA. Proven experience in psychotherapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, motivational interviewing, and behavioral therapy techniques. Ability to handle crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention skills while maintaining professionalism under pressure. Experience working within HIPAA guidelines ensuring confidentiality of sensitive patient information at all times.
