Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to develop personalized treatment plans. Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Implement crisis management strategies and crisis intervention protocols to ensure patient safety during acute episodes. Provide specialized counseling for children and youth, including child & family counseling, autism spectrum disorder (ASD) interventions, and special education collaboration. Maintain accurate clinical documentation adhering to HIPAA regulations, clinical documentation standards, and medical records management using EMR/EHR systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management efforts for clients with co-occurring disorders or complex needs. Engage in research activities and data collection to support evidence-based practice improvements and quality assurance initiatives. Facilitate telehealth therapy sessions utilizing secure platforms to expand access to mental health services across various settings. Offer grief counseling, addiction counseling, and support for PTSD care tailored to individual client needs. Ensure compliance with clinical ethical guidelines while delivering culturally competent care that respects client diversity and spiritual preferences such as Christian counseling. Experience Valid licensure as an LCSW-C or LMSW with experience working in outpatient or inpatient mental health settings. Proven expertise in psychotherapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused therapy, art therapy, dance/movement therapy, and behavioral therapy techniques. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and individuals with disabilities or developmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder. Experience managing crisis situations through crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols. Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate diagnosis documentation; experience with CPT coding is a plus. Proficiency in clinical documentation standards within EMR/EHR systems ensuring compliance with HIPAA and medical record regulations. Background working with co-occurring disorders including mental health and substance use challenges; experience in addiction counseling is advantageous. Strong communication skills for client engagement and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams; experience providing telehealth services is preferred.
