We are committed to enhancing the well-being of individuals and families through high-quality, accessible mental health care. As part of our mission, we are expanding our services to the Estill County School District and are seeking a dedicated School Therapist to join our team.
Position Overview:
Trinity Health Group is looking for a compassionate and experienced School Therapist to provide mental health services to students in the Estill County School District. This role involves working closely with students, families, and school staff to address a variety of emotional, behavioral, and psychological needs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children and adolescents.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group therapy to students, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health concerns. Conduct assessments to identify students' mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans. Collaborate with school staff, including teachers, counselors, and administrators, to create a supportive school environment. Offer crisis intervention and management as needed. Engage with parents and guardians to provide guidance and resources to support their children's mental health. Maintain accurate and confidential records of all student interactions and treatment plans. Participate in school meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide mental health initiatives. Provide training and support to school staff on mental health topics as needed.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. Current Kentucky licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Professional Counseling Associate (LPCA), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Certified Social Worker (CSW), or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably working with children and adolescents. Strong understanding of child and adolescent development, mental health disorders, and therapeutic interventions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
