Individuals receiving services are adults with often times multiple diagnoses and present with significant challenging behaviors. Many individuals supported in the HSB program have transitioned out of more restrictive settings, such as residential habilitation centers, state hospitals, correctional facilities, and diversion programs. Supported individuals may also be part of the WA Community Protection Program and may have criminal backgrounds requiring increased clinical support in order to thrive in a community setting.

Manage caseload of individuals for treatment implementationConduct Functional Behavior Assessments and develop Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs)Provide clinical guidance to Direct Support Professionals and Program ManagersConduct frequent program visits to interact with supported individuals and staffComplete progress reports, documentation and data collection, updating plans as necessaryReview data to ensure care meets individual's current needsAssist in providing crisis intervention and outreach as needed.

Foster positive rapport with individuals, parents, and guardiansParticipate in the debriefing of significant incidents of individuals on caseload when requestedAttend person-centered planning meetings, referral/intake meetings, and home staffing meetingsDevelop and maintain collaborative relationships with external service providers including DDA, Consultants, Hospitals, external providers, etc.

QualificationsWhat Makes You a
Great Fit:
 Must have a master's degree in psychology, behavior analysis, mental health, special education, social work, or other related discipline; or be graduating with master's degree within the next 6 months. 2+ years of professional experience with individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities (IDD) is requiredRelevant experience in designing and implementing support plans for individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, and/or challenging behaviorsExperience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) preferred Additional InformationWe believe in supporting not only those we serve but also each other, ensuring a collaborative and supportive work environment for all.
