Job Description
OVERVIEW
The Behavioral Health Case Manager BS- Inpatient works with the behavioral health multidisciplinary team to provide care for the patients admitted to inpatient behavioral health or mental health, addictions and child, adolescent day treatment programs. The Behavioral Health Case Manager BS
- Inpatient would help with dispositional planning, care planning and group psychoeducation. The Behavioral Health Case Manager BS
- Inpatient may also help with behavioral health consults in the ED and on the medical unit. Under the supervision and consultation of a psychiatrist the Behavioral Health Case Manager BS
- Inpatient will gather data about patient condition and assist with disposition, pro viding resources and recommendations to patients in the ED or on medical floors.

Three, 12-Hour Shifts Shift:
NightsESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Works with patients on the inpatient unit, emergency room, medical floors and day treatment programs. Consults and coordinates care of patient with the physician/psychiatrist, RN, social worker/therapist and other agencies. Assesses treatment planning and progress. Prepares treatment plan and goals for patients. Maintains pertinent patient data in the EMR in accordance with state and federal laws and hospital policy. Provides y psychoeducational groups. Arranges for disposition and follow up recommendations.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's or master's Degree in a mental health, behavioral health field with documented clinical course work. Experience or field study experience in mental health site. Working toward licensure is preferred.- Degree level may impact compensation.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE TACT
certified within 90 days after hire. Level 3 inpatient Level 2 day treatment programs and clinic setting Approved CPR/BLS within 90 days after hire.OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
