The parents want someone who will care for their baby with warmth and confidence, communicate openly, and become a trusted part of their family as their child grows. This could be a wonderful fit for a career nanny or an experienced childcare professional moving from a daycare setting into a private home. Infant care experience is important. The family is especially drawn to someone nurturing, patient, playful, and willing to adapt as their baby grows. Schedule and compensation Monday through Friday, approximately 40 hours per week, with the daily schedule to be finalized with the family 40 guaranteed hours per week Occasional later days or overtime may be requested, but are not a regular part of the schedule $22-$27 per hour Start date: January 4, 2027 (Orientation days to begin in December) Long-term position with no anticipated end date 10 paid vacation days and 5 paid sick days per year Paid holidays Paid orientation before the first independent day What the days will look like Caring for the baby is the heart of this role. The nanny will handle feeding and bottle care, naps, diapering, developmental play, and the routines that help an infant feel safe and cared for. The family would love stroller walks and, as the baby grows, age-appropriate outings. The parents want to know how their baby's day is going. The nanny will use Huckleberry to share daily information and keep communication open without needing to provide constant updates. Other responsibilities are limited to care-related tasks: Sterilizing bottles and caring for feeding supplies Doing the baby's laundry Cleaning up after the baby and yourself Keeping the baby's spaces and supplies organized Letting the family dogs outside when needed There is no general housecleaning or other household management in this position. The nanny may drive the baby to outings in their own vehicle. The family will provide a car seat, and mileage for child-related driving will be reimbursed. The family prefers a largely screen-free day for their child. They also ask that the nanny not scroll social media during work hours or post photos or information about the baby online. What we're looking for Meaningful professional experience caring for infants, whether in a private home or childcare setting A warm, attentive approach and genuine interest in building a long-term relationship Confidence in infant routines, paired with openness to the parents' guidance Good judgment, reliability, and clear communication Comfort with dogs in the home Able to carry out the active, hands-on parts of infant care throughout the workday, including safely lifting and carrying the baby, getting down on the floor for play, and taking the baby on stroller walks and age-appropriate outings. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and have previous professional childcare experience, excellent references, reliable transportation, and a clear background check. CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain both, is required. Applicants must be non-smokers. At Imagine Care Nannies, we believe the best placements are built on more than experience alone. We thoughtfully match families and nannies based on personalities, communication styles, and long-term compatibility because we want everyone to thrive. If you're an experienced infant caregiver who would love to grow with a family, we'd be glad to hear from you. Apply through Indeed to begin the process. Qualified applicants will be invited to complete the next step of our screening process with Imagine Care Nannies.
