Our nannies receive consistent employment, paid training, professional support, and opportunities for advancement while providing attentive, developmentally appropriate care in private homes. About the Role As a professional nanny with Nanny Needs, you will provide safe, nurturing and engaging care for infants, toddlers and preschool-age children. Most of the children served by our families are under age 5.

Responsibilities include:

Supervising children at all times and maintaining a safe care environment Planning age-appropriate crafts, educational activities, and active play Supporting children's development through everyday routines and activities Taking children on approved outings, such as visits to the library, park or zoo Preparing simple meals and snacks for the children Cleaning bottles, dishes and other items used by yourself and the children Completing children's laundry and tidying their bedrooms and play areas Transporting children safely when required by the family assignment Communicating professionally with parents and the Nanny Needs team Following Nanny Needs' safety policies and other expectations for quality care Household responsibilities are limited to tasks related to the children in your care. What We're Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

Prior paid child care experience in a nanny, daycare, preschool or similar professional setting High-quality, hands-on experience caring for young children (especially infants & toddlers) Ability to pass background and driving-record checks To be drug- and nicotine-free (this is a safety-sensitive position) Ability to care for children independently for up to 12 hours A reliable, insured vehicle , smoke-free, that can safely transport at least two children in car seats A smartphone for work-related communication and scheduling Current CPR/First Aid certification (we will pay for this training if not current) Ability to work in homes that may have common household pets Dependability, sound judgment and professional communication skills Why Our Nannies Enjoy This Work Our nannies have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with children and families while receiving the stability, training and support of an established team.
