•5:00 PM About the Role We are a Chandler family looking for an experienced, dependable, and engaging part-time nanny to care for our two children, a 1-year-old girl and a 4-year-old boy, in our home. Our 4-year-old attends school and gets home around 2:30 PM. No school pickup is required. Before 2:30, you'll mainly be caring for our 1-year-old. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, you'll care for both children from 2:30 until 5:00 PM. We want someone who truly enjoys kids and understands this role is more than supervision. You'll be actively playing, teaching, and keeping their day fun and age-appropriate. Responsibilities Provide attentive, safe, and nurturing in-home care Actively play and interact with both children Read books and encourage age-appropriate learning Plan simple games, crafts, and developmental activities Keep the children on their normal routines Prepare simple snacks and meals as needed Keep play and eating areas tidy Update parents on how the day went Requirements Previous professional or consistent childcare experience, such as a nanny, daycare, preschool, or childcare center role Experience with toddlers and preschool-aged children Comfortable caring for two young children at once Available every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday on the schedule above Reliable transportation Childcare references Willing to complete a background check Preferred CPR/First Aid certification Bilingual Please note: This is not an entry-level position.
