Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care and support for 1 child in a private home setting. This role offers an exciting opportunity to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for a three year old. The ideal candidate will be proactive, compassionate, and experience with potty training. This paid position emphasizes the importance of fostering development, ensuring safety, and supporting our family with reliable caregiving. We are looking for an on-call babysitter who is available during the weekdays in case our chid can't attend daycare/gets sent home. We are basically looking for a back up plan in case our child is sick and can't attend daycare. We are also looking for a babysitter for occasional date nights as well! Duties Provide attentive supervision and care for child, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Prepare nutritious meals and snacks Assist with age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and physical development Perform light household chores such as cleaning up after children, laundry, and residential housekeeping tasks Support children with preschool routines, nap schedules, potty-training, and toddler care as needed Offer personal transportation assistance for daycare pickup, appointments, or outings Administer first aid and CPR in case of emergencies while following safety protocols Engage in babysitting duties including supervising playtime, reading stories, and managing behavioral guidance Collaborate with parents to ensure consistent routines and communicate updates on children's progress or concerns Qualifications Proven experience working with children ages 3 years old and older. Prior nannying or private home childcare experience preferred Knowledge of childcare best practices including preschool activities, daycare routines, and caregiving techniques Certification in first aid and CPR is required Ability to perform light cleaning tasks such as residential housekeeping and meal preparation efficiently Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with parents and other caregivers Reliable personal transportation to assist with outings or appointments when necessary
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
