Primary responsibilities:
Provide full‑time childcare for three boys, including supervision, age‑appropriate activities, and emotional support Manage school and preschool drop‑offs and pick‑ups; drive safely using the family vehicle Encourage active, casual play (indoor and outdoor/free play) and support creative and quiet activities appropriate for ages 3-7 Prepare simple meals and snacks for the children and manage feeding routines Maintain daily routines and enforce clear, consistent boundaries with a warm, firm approach Perform light household tasks tied to childcare during morning preschool hours (e.g., children's laundry, meal prep for kids, tidying play areas, organizing child supplies) Communicate regularly with parents — mom and dad are great communicators and easy to connect with — about schedules, behavior, health, and developmental milestones Support occasional child‑focused errands and household coordination as agreed
Qualifications:
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. Minimum 5+ years of professional nanny or childcare experience
Preferred:
experience caring for multiple children in one household or working with large groups of children (e.g., camps, schools, daycare) Knowledge of child development and ability to create safe, engaging experiences for ages 3-7 Valid driver's license and clean driving record; comfortable driving the family vehicle Strong references from recent families (agency will verify) Warm, patient demeanor with the ability to set firm, consistent boundaries Collaborative, flexible, and receptive to parental partnership and feedback CPR and pediatric first aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Willingness to undergo background and motor vehicle record checks Must be up‑to‑date on vaccinations, including COVID‑19 and seasonal influenza (proof will be requested).
