About the Role Our family is hiring a Child care for weekday morning and late afternoons with our nine-year-old son. He is autistic, friendly, and affectionate. He is curious, has a great memory, and loves being outdoors, playing in water, and jumping on trampolines. He is working on communication, independence, and self-regulation. Sessions cover task support, reading together, and structured play. What You Will Do Support task completion and afternoon routines Read together and run functional games that build language and social skills Follow the strategies set by the behavior team Collaborate with the BCBA, speech therapist, and homeschool teacher Keep short session notes What We Are Looking For Five years of experience in special education and/or as a Registered Behavior Technician Experience with autistic children Experience with task completion and functional language Experience running Applied Behavior Analysis programs CPR and First Aid certification Valid driver's license Engaging, and builds rapport quickly Active and physically able to supervise indoors and outdoors Comfortable working alongside a cross-functional team of providers Reliable weekday late afternoons Patient and consistent To Apply Send a resume and a short note about your experience with autistic children.
