To be discussed Position Overview A warm, reliable, and detail-oriented family in Hermosa Beach is seeking an experienced full-time nanny to provide attentive care for their 10-month-old child. The primary responsibility will be nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate baby care. Additional household support, such as baby laundry and general tidying related to the child, is appreciated but secondary to the child's needs. The family is structured and values consistency, reliability, and a caring approach. The ideal nanny will be confident caring for an infant, attentive to the child's cues, and comfortable supporting a predictable daily routine with scheduled naps. Please note that the child has a peanut allergy and a slight hazelnut allergy. Responsibilities Provide attentive and loving care for a 10-month-old child. Follow the family's daily routine and support scheduled nap times. Prepare and serve bottles, meals, and snacks as appropriate. Engage the child in age-appropriate play and activities. Take the child on outings such as visits to the park or library. Maintain a calm, safe, and stimulating environment. Reinforce the family's no-screen-time preference. Assist with baby-related laundry and general tidying as time permits. Communicate openly and professionally with the parents regarding the child's day, needs, and development. Observe and respond appropriately to the child's mood, cues, and changing needs. Sample Daily Routine 8:30 a.m.: Arrival and breakfast. 8:45-9:15 a.m.: Playtime. 9:15-10:45 a.m.: Morning nap. 10:45 a.m.-2:00 p.m.: Lunch and an outing or adventure, such as the park or library. 2:00-3:30 p.m.: Afternoon nap. 3:30-4:30 p.m.: Bottle and playtime. The schedule may be adjusted based on the child's needs, developmental changes, and the family's guidance.
