Requirements:
Education:

Minimum of 12 units in Early Child Development/Child Development including core courses and 3 administrative units. Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Child Development is preferred.

Experience:

350 days of 3+ hours per day within 4 years teaching young children (equivalent to 1.5 years part-time), including at least 100 days of supervising adults (equivalent to 5 months). Teaching young children in a group setting preferred.

Knowledge of:

Early childhood development and appropriate practices; appropriate health and safety codes; reporting procedures for suspected child abuse; skills in establishing and maintaining effective communications with adults and children; standard office productivity applications (Word, excel, brightwheel, etc.).

Ability to:

meet State regulations; enforce and apply all laws according to Title 22 guidelines, rules and regulations; read, understand and interpret standard official legal documents; exercise judgment and discretion in analyzing and resolving problems; maintain cooperative working relationships; demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for a diverse population.

Hourly pay rate:

$26.94 to $29.76 To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations. Mammoth Mountain is an equal opportunity employer.
