$85,000-$120,000+ annually (DOE) plus paid vacation, holidays, performance bonus, and other benefits. About Our Family We are a busy family with five children and own a growing Southern California business. We are looking for someone who wants to become a trusted, long-term part of our family and help keep our household running smoothly. This is not a traditional nanny position. We're looking for someone who enjoys creating order, anticipating needs, caring for children, and making life easier for a busy family. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, proactive, flexible, and genuinely enjoys helping others. Position Overview The Family Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of our household while providing childcare as needed. This role combines the responsibilities of a household manager, nanny, family assistant, and personal assistant. Our goal is to find someone who takes ownership of our home and helps create a peaceful, organized environment where our family can thrive. Primary ResponsibilitiesHousehold Management- Keep the home clean, organized, and running efficiently.
- Laundry, folding, ironing, and putting away clothes.
- Dishes and kitchen cleanup.
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and general housekeeping.
- Organizing closets, pantry, cabinets, toys, and storage areas.
- Maintain household inventory and supplies.
- Coordinate deliveries and home service appointments.
- Assist with light meal preparation when needed.
- Assist with packing and unpacking for vacations.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming home environment. Family & Childcare
- Supervise and care for five children as needed.
- School pickups and drop-offs.
- Transport children to activities.
- Assist with homework and daily routines.
- Prepare snacks and simple meals.
- Help establish routines and maintain structure.
- Overnight childcare when parents travel.
- Occasional multi-day care during family vacations or business trips. Errands & Personal Assistance
- Grocery shopping.
- Amazon returns and package pickups.
- Dry cleaning.
- Pharmacy and prescription pickups.
- Gift shopping.
- Holiday preparation.
- Running miscellaneous errands.
- Scheduling appointments.
- Helping coordinate family events and birthdays.
- Other tasks that help our family stay organized and efficient. What We're Looking For The right person will be:

- Previous experience as a Household Manager, Family Assistant, Nanny, Executive Assistant, or similar role.
- Excellent references from previous employers.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Comfortable with occasional evenings, weekends, overnight stays, and travel. Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience managing a busy household.
- Experience caring for multiple children.
- Meal preparation experience.
- Professional organizing experience.
