We are looking for someone with previous full time professional experience caring for babies specifically. Professional experience includes previously working as an infant nanny or working in an infant daycare or Montessori. We do not consider occasional infant care or the care of one's own children, grandchildren, siblings, or family members as "professional" experience, although that experience is a welcome benefit if candidates also have professional experience too. Hours are 7am to 3pm Monday-Friday, with approximately 2 Saturday nights (5-9pm) a month. Ideal start date is Wednesday, Sept 30, but hard start date is Monday, Oct. 5.

Responsibilities include:

feeding/burping bottle cleaning and prep tummy time/developmentally appropriate activities changing baby's laundry maintaining nursery's cleanliness and organization maintaining baby's hygeine light housework, including: > dishes > wiping counters and surfaces > feeding the dog > letting the dog out > light meal prep (e.g., washing produce) Must have or be: at least 2 years of professional infant care experience excellent references valid driver's license reliable transportation up to date flu, COVID, and TDAP vaccines non smoking comfortable with and not allergic to dogs (we have a friendly Frenchie) clean background check Nice to Have but

Not Required:

Valid Infant/Child CPR and First Aid (or be willing to complete at our cost) French speaking Credits or a degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent Infant or childcare certifications

Benefits and Pay:

$20-$30 an hour DOE 40 hours a week guaranteed during the academic year (August to early June). 13 paid holidays during the academic year. Wed-Fri Thanksgiving week is off but paid at 40 hours. Week of Christmas is off but paid at 30 hours. One week of vacation during the summer paid at 30 hours. 5 days (40 hours) of sick or personal necessity paid during the year (Oct 2026 to August 2027). 30 hours a week during the summer (early June to early August / 9 weeks total) > Summer hours are guaranteed but not required, so employee can work a summer job if desired. > Summer schedule TBD.
