Schedule & Guaranteed Hours:

Family is seeking any two staggered overnight shifts per week, plus one full Friday through Sunday weekend per month. Anticipated overnight hours are approximately 9:00 or 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 or 7:00 a.m. The family receives Dad's physician call schedule well in advance and already has the schedule for the remainder of the year. Standard Duties:

All standard Newborn Care Specialist / Night Nanny duties, including overnight newborn care, feeding support, bottle preparation and cleaning, diapering, soothing, settling, maintaining a safe sleep environment and helping establish healthy newborn routines. Support Mom's feeding goals by bringing the baby to her for nursing as needed, while also confidently managing bottles and formula supplementation if requested. Provide clear overnight updates regarding feedings, sleep, diapering and any notable changes in the baby's routine. Desired Skills and Abilities The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications… All candidates must have a minimum of 2-3+ years of professional night nanny and/or Newborn Care Specialist experience working overnights. Previous experience independently managing overnight newborn care is required. Newborn Care Specialist, postpartum doula or other newborn-specific training is preferred. All candidates should also have strong knowledge of safe sleep, newborn feeding, soothing and early sleep development No college degree is required. The family is primarily focused on finding the right combination of newborn experience, professionalism and reliability. The ideal candidate will be dependable, trustworthy, calm and confident. The family will value someone who can independently manage the baby overnight, support both nursing and bottle feeding, and reliably accommodate a schedule planned in advance around a physician's call responsibilities. Compensation and Benefits Let's talk dollars and cents… Rate of Pay (gross): The family is offering $35-$37/hour (gross).
