This is an opportunity for a proven early childhood leader who can build a high-performing team, strengthen operations, grow enrollment, and maintain an exceptional experience for children and families. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who understands that a successful childcare center is built on three things: exceptional care, a strong team, and trusted relationships with families. You will take ownership of the center's day-to-day operations while developing the people, systems, and strategies needed for sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities Lead the overall operation, culture, and continued growth of the center. Develop and execute strategies to increase enrollment, retention, referrals, and community awareness. Lead tours and build strong relationships with prospective and current families. Recruit, hire, onboard, coach, develop, and retain exceptional teachers and support staff. Build a culture of accountability, professionalism, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Oversee staffing, scheduling, classroom operations, supplies, facilities, and daily priorities. Establish and improve systems and processes that support efficient, scalable operations. Monitor classroom quality and coach teachers to ensure developmentally appropriate, engaging learning environments. Ensure compliance with all childcare licensing, health, safety, and regulatory requirements. Help manage the center budget and make thoughtful decisions regarding staffing and resources. Respond to parent questions and concerns with professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment. Monitor enrollment, staffing, operational, and financial performance and use data to drive decisions. Identify challenges and opportunities proactively and implement solutions that improve the experience for children, families, and staff. Partner with ownership/leadership on strategic planning and long-term growth. What We're Looking For 5+ years of experience in childcare, early childhood education, preschool, or a related field, with significant leadership experience. Proven experience managing and growing an early childhood center or similar program. Strong experience recruiting, developing, and retaining teachers and childcare professionals. Strong understanding of child development, classroom quality, and developmentally appropriate practices. Knowledge of childcare licensing, health, safety, and regulatory requirements. Strong operational and business instincts, including experience with staffing, enrollment, scheduling, and budgets. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead with both accountability and empathy. Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. A genuine passion for early childhood education and creating an exceptional experience for children, families, and staff.
