Lafeyette Professional, warm, nurturing, nanny that has a background in early childhood development is needed for an almost 3 yr old Mon., Wed., And Fri. from 8am-5pm and Tues. and Thurs from 10am-5p and her 7-yr old brother after school hours. This family will need this schedule until the end of Jan or Feb. when the hours may change to 30 or 35 hours a week when their daughter will go to preschool for more hours. This active, busy family of 4 is seeking a nanny who adores children and caring for them, has a warm heart but can set boundaries. Someone who is invested in children and who recognizes how impactful caregivers are when it comes to child development, who is a safe driver and who is very aware of safety around pools and streets is the best fit. They are looking for a nanny who can create a strong bond and relationship with their kids and who will teach through modeling. Nanny must be very energetic and playful as their 7 yr. old has a lot of energy to burn off after school as does their 3-yr old. They want a nanny who can remain calm, patient and grounded when moments get chaotic and to have a positive outlook to help the family navigate daily adventures with empathy and grace. They would like the nanny to make lunches, pick up toys and help keep the home organized throughout the day so mom and dad can come home after work and spend time playing with their children. Nanny must have a clean driving record as she will be driving the kids to and from school as well as fun activities. Nanny must also be CPR certified, be a good swimmer, and know how to potty train. This family is multilingual with mom speaking to the kids in Bosnian and dad in English. They enjoy learning about different cultures and being around friends and outdoors hiking, biking or swimming. They are offering an hourly rate of $28- 35/hr.
