Job Description
After School Childcare Provider & Van Driver Playology Children's Center is seeking a caring, energetic, and reliable team member to join our after-school program this fall. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with elementary-age children, creating engaging activities, and helping foster a fun, safe, and supportive environment. Schedule Monday-Friday Starting between 2:00-3:00 PM - 4:00-5:00 Additional hours available during: School breaks Teacher workdays Position begins as soon as you are onboarded and pass a background check. Responsibilities Safely transport children from local schools to our center using a Playology van. Supervise and engage children ages 5-12 years old . Plan and lead age-appropriate activities, including: Crafts Outdoor play Games Enrichment activities Support homework time when needed. Maintain a safe, positive, and welcoming environment. Use positive behavior guidance and classroom management techniques. Communicate professionally with families and fellow team members. Follow all safety procedures and licensing requirements. Qualifications Must be at least 16 years old . ( 20 years old to drive van) Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (driving positon). Comfortable driving a passenger van(driving position). Previous van-driving experience is strongly preferred(driving position). Experience working with children ages 5-12 ( to be lead required or we can train and start as a teaching aide) Dependable, patient, and enthusiastic. Strong communication and teamwork skills. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain). What We're Looking For We love hiring people who are creative, active, and genuinely enjoy spending time with children.
