Job Description
We're looking for a reliable, kind, and organized person to help keep our household running smoothly during the week. The role is a blend of light housekeeping, meal prep, and occasional help with our two children (school-age). It's a great fit for someone who enjoys creating order, helping a busy family, and making everyday life a little easier. Typical Responsibilities General tidying and light housekeeping (dishes, wiping counters, light cleaning) Laundry folding and organization Grocery shopping and errands Simple meal prep or dinner cooking; packing lunches or snacks Occasional childcare (after school care, when kids are home from school, school holidays, or parent errands) Keeping household supplies organized and stocked Ideal Candidate Dependable, warm, and trustworthy Great attention to detail and takes pride in their work Comfortable working independently and taking initiative Experience with childcare or previous family assistance preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Schedule & Flexibility 2-3 weekdays per week, typically afternoons or early evenings (exact times flexible) Occasional extra hours on school closure days or as agreed in advance We're happy to work with your schedule for the right fit Compensation & Benefits $25-$35/hour depending on experience Guaranteed weekly minimum hours once established Friendly, respectful, and flexible working environment How to Apply Please include: A short note introducing yourself and why you'd be a great fit A resume or brief summary of relevant experience References (if available) We look forward to hearing from you!
