In this rewarding role, you will support early childhood development by assisting lead teachers and caregivers in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster positive growth, learning, and social skills in young learners while ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Duties Assist with daily activities such as playtime, meals and snacks, nap times, and educational exercises to promote childhood development. Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for children. Observe and monitor children's behavior to ensure safety and implement behavior management strategies under supervision. Provide attentive care to infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed. Collaborate with lead teachers to develop age-appropriate learning activities that stimulate curiosity and growth. Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding daily activities and children's progress or concerns. Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices. Ability to work effectively with children of different ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Strong classroom management skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities. Ability to follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure environment for all children. Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or needs within the childcare setting.
