Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Part Time Nanny/Home Helper to provide exceptional care and support within a private household. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to assist with childcare, household tasks, and daily routines, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and organized environment for a 9 month old as well as two 11 year olds. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and passionate about creating a positive home experience while maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness. Duties Provide attentive childcare for children, including infant and two middle schoolers, ensuring their safety, well-being, and developmental needs are met. Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, and nap schedules. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary requirements. Engage children in educational activities, playtime, and age-appropriate learning experiences. Perform household chores including cleaning, laundry, organizing toys and supplies to maintain a tidy living space. Support transportation needs by providing safe personal transportation assistance for school runs or appointments. Administer basic first aid and CPR when necessary; handle minor injuries promptly and effectively. Manage household supplies inventory and ensure cleanliness standards are consistently upheld. Requirements Proven experience working with children across various age groups, including infants and preschoolers. Prior nannying or private home childcare experience is a big plus. Knowledge of childcare best practices including infant care, toddler care, and daycare routines. Certification in first aid and CPR is required. Strong skills in cleaning, residential housekeeping, meal preparation, and caregiving tasks. Ability to work flexible hours on a part-time basis with reliable personal transportation assistance if needed. Excellent communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions and engage positively with children and family members. Compassionate attitude combined with a proactive approach to safety and household management. Clean background and drivers license.
