Job Description
MAJOR FUNCTION
- Work with a group of students, helping them with enrichment activities.
TEACHER DUTIES
- Perform day to day operations of the WCC classroom
- Assesses each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis
- Encourages quiet time and assists students with completing their assigned homework
- Implements the plans and daily classroom schedule using the World Champion Center curriculum outlines and materials
- Provides an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages creativity, exploration and learning by the children.
- Provides the children with verbal praises and acceptance while providing clear and consistent expectations for the children's behavior
- Ensures that all class bulletin boards are current and provide parents with an overview of relevant information
- Assures that students are prepared for Taekwondo class
- Acts as a caring mentor, who will assist students in their learning goals
- Observes all rules and regulations of World Champion Center and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children
- Maintains professional personal appearance
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS
- Must be available Monday-Friday between the hours of 7am-1pm
- Experience working with a group of children (volunteer experience included)
- Must meet all local, state and national basic health requirements.
- Must have current FL Fingerprint Clearance and criminal investigation report
- Current State of Florida driver license and original Social Security card with same last name on both.
