We are seeking a Child Care Director to join our team! You must be a great leader as well as a compassionate co-worker/mentor.

Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of the childcare center Instruct and train staff in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth Create a fun and safe learning environment for the children as well as the staff Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime Establish and maintain positive relationships with parents, staff, and students Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress Adhere to all DCF standards Maintain compliance with all contracts with the various State organizations

Qualifications:

CDA or higher is recommended Minimum 3 years experience in childcare, teaching, or other educational fields 2 years of managing experience Passionate about working with children and training adults Ability to build rapport with children, families, and staff Positive and patient demeanor Excellent written and verbal communication skills
