Club Babysitter Reports to:

Events & Banquets Manager Position :

Part-time Fridays from 4 PM - 10 PM, with occasional Saturdays Must be available to work Friday evenings on a consistent basis, with occasional weekends as needed

Job Summary :

Quail Creek Country Club is seeking a dependable, responsible, and energetic Club Babysitter to provide a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for members' children. The Club Babysitter will staff Kids Corner, Quail Creek's weekly Friday evening childcare program, as well as our monthly themed Kids Club. The position will assist with planned activities, engage with children, and provide attentive supervision throughout the evening. This position works closely with the Events & Banquets team and is responsible for maintaining a safe, organized, and positive childcare environment while providing attentive supervision and excellent service to Quail Creek members and their families.

Qualifications :

Must be at least 18 years of age Previous experience working with children through babysitting, childcare, camps, schools, or similar programs preferred Dependable, responsible, and punctual Patient, energetic, and comfortable interacting with children of varying ages Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain attentive and calm in a busy environment Professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with children, parents, and club members Ability to follow club policies, safety procedures, and direction from the Events & Banquets Manager Must be able to complete required employment screening and background checks

Responsibilities:

Supervise children attending Kids Corner and ensure their safety and well-being at all times Make sure age-appropriate games, activities, and entertainment are provided Assist with activities and programming during the monthly themed Kids Club Welcome children and families in a friendly and professional manner Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming childcare environment Assist with setup and cleanup of the Kids Corner area Ensure children remain within the designated childcare area Communicate appropriately and professionally with parents and guardians Report any concerns, incidents, or emergencies to the Events & Banquets Manager or any Food & Beverage manager Follow all Quail Creek childcare, safety, and emergency procedures Work cooperatively with the Events & Banquets team to ensure Kids Corner runs each Friday evening smoothly

Required Certifications:

Current CPR Certification required Current First Aid Certification required Additional childcare or safety certifications may be required in accordance with Quail Creek Country Club policies and applicable regulations

Pay:

$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 5.0 - 10.0 per week
