Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Child Care Director to lead and oversee our early childhood education programs. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment, and fostering the developmental growth of children in your care. Your leadership will inspire a team of dedicated caregivers and educators to deliver high-quality childcare services that promote learning, creativity, and social-emotional development. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young lives while maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. Duties Supervise and support a team of teachers, caregivers, and staff to ensure effective classroom management and adherence to curriculum standards Develop, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate educational programs that promote childhood development and learning outcomes Ensure the safety and well-being of children by maintaining strict compliance with health, safety, and sanitation protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR certification requirements Manage daily operations including enrollment procedures, parent communication, staff scheduling, and record keeping Conduct regular classroom observations to monitor quality of care, provide feedback, and facilitate ongoing staff training in areas such as behavior management, special education strategies, and working with children with disabilities Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and licensing regulations governing childcare facilities Foster a positive, inclusive environment that supports diversity and encourages social-emotional growth among children Requirements Proven experience working with young children in settings such as daycare centers, preschools, or nannying roles with classroom experience in early childhood education Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, child development instruction techniques, and classroom management strategies Certification in first aid (including pediatric first aid) and CPR is required; ongoing training in caregiving best practices preferred Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and abuse prevention Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills to collaborate with parents, staff, and community partners Join us as a Child Care Director where your leadership will shape the future of young learners! $45,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
