Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive, highly organized, and reliable Family Assistant to help manage our busy Miami household. This is a strictly in-person role designed for an expert multitasker who can seamlessly manage a combination of childcare, daily administrative support, and light household organization. The ideal candidate will work on-site daily to keep our home running efficiently while ensuring our children are well-cared for.
Key Responsibilities:
Household Management & Admin Calendar management: Coordinating school schedules, sports, doctor appointments, and family vacations.
Errand running:
Grocery shopping, picking up dry cleaning, dropping off packages, and managing returns.
Vendor liaison:
Scheduling and supervising home repairs, house cleaners, landscapers, or pest control.
Digital organization:
Managing family emails, ordering supplies online, and organizing digital photos or documents.
Meal planning:
Planning weekly menus, prepping ingredients, or cooking simple meals for the family.
Childcare & Nanny Support Transportation:
Driving children to and from school, after-school activities, playdates, and appointments.
Homework help:
Assisting with school projects, reviewing homework.
Activity planning:
Organizing enriching outings, crafts, and age-appropriate educational games.
Routine care:
Preparing kids' meals, packing school lunches, managing bedtime routines, and helping them get ready when needed. Light Housekeeping & Organization Tidying up: Keeping common areas, kitchens, and children's play spaces neat throughout the day.
Laundry management:
Washing, folding, and putting away the family's clothes and linens.
Deep organization:
Purging outgrown toys and clothes, organizing closets, rotating seasonal wardrobes, and managing pantry inventory.
Pet care:
Feeding pets, taking dogs for short walks, and managing vet or grooming appointments.
Qualifications:
At least 2-3+ years of experience working in-person as a Family Assistant, Personal Assistant, or Nanny. Valid Florida Driver's License with an excellent driving record and a safe, reliable vehicle for errands/driving kids. CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to complete it upon hiring). Confident communication skills and strong time management. Must be comfortable around pets (if applicable). Willingness to pass a background check and provide strong professional references.
Pay:
$16.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
