In this role, you will provide attentive childcare, assist with daily routines, and support families by fostering development and ensuring well-being. Duties Provide attentive supervision and care for children, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged kids. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to dietary needs and preferences. Assist with daily routines such as dressing, bathing, nap times, and homework support. Engage children in educational activities, playtime, arts and crafts, and outdoor adventures to promote development. Perform light household tasks related to childcare, including cleaning up after children and residential housekeeping duties. Support children with special needs or disabilities by implementing tailored caregiving strategies and working closely with parents or specialists. Offer personal transportation assistance for school drop-offs, appointments, or extracurricular activities when needed. Experience Proven experience working with children across various age groups, especially infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Prior nannying or private home childcare experience is highly desirable. Familiarity with caregiving for children with disabilities or special needs. Knowledge of childcare best practices including first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), and basic emergency response procedures. Experience in daycare settings or babysitting roles demonstrating responsibility and reliability. Ability to handle multiple children simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude. Competence in meal preparation, light cleaning related to childcare duties, and providing personal transportation assistance when necessary.
