This role offers an exciting opportunity to support children's development, ensure their safety, and create a nurturing environment that promotes growth and happiness. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, professionalism, and a genuine love for working with children of all ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Your daily efforts will help families feel confident that their children are in caring hands while fostering positive experiences that support their physical, emotional, and social well-being. Responsibilities Provide attentive childcare tailored to each child's age and developmental needs, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers Prepare nutritious meals and snacks suitable for children's dietary requirements and preferences Engage children in educational activities, playtime, arts and crafts, reading, and age-appropriate learning experiences Maintain a safe environment by supervising children at all times and implementing safety protocols Assist with light household tasks such as cleaning up after children, laundry related to children's belongings, and residential housekeeping duties Support children's routines including diapering, bathing, dressing, nap times, and potty training Offer personal transportation assistance for school drop-offs/pick-ups or extracurricular activities when needed Administer basic first aid or CPR in case of emergencies and follow all safety guidelines for child health and well-being Work with children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities and providing personalized care plans as required Requirements Proven experience working with children in nannying, babysitting, daycare settings or private homes Demonstrated knowledge of childcare best practices including infant care, toddler care, preschool activities, and working with children with disabilities Valid certifications in CPR and First Aid are essential; ongoing training is a plus Ability to handle multiple children simultaneously while maintaining patience and professionalism Strong skills in meal preparation tailored to children's nutritional needs Experience with residential housekeeping tasks such as cleaning up after children and maintaining a tidy living space Personal transportation assistance experience preferred to support family schedules effectively Excellent communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with parents and other caregivers Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or specific family routines Join us in creating a warm, engaging environment where children can thrive!
