Job Description

Job Summary Join our vibrant childcare team as a Child Care Staff member, where your enthusiasm and dedication will foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of all ages. In this role, you will provide attentive supervision, support early childhood development, and implement educational activities that promote growth and learning. Duties Supervise children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Assist in planning and executing age-appropriate educational and recreational activities that promote development in areas such as social skills, motor skills, and cognitive abilities Support classroom management by maintaining organized environments and encouraging positive behavior through effective behavior management strategies Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, needs, and any concerns to foster strong partnerships Administer basic first aid or pediatric first aid when necessary to address minor injuries or health issues Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the childcare environment, including proper sanitation of toys and materials Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent delivery of child development instruction aligned with early childhood education principles Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, or similar settings is highly preferred Demonstrated classroom experience managing young children's activities and behavior management techniques Knowledge of childhood development stages and child supervision best practices Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Certification in first aid and CPR (Childhood First Aid) is desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not already held Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare is advantageous Previous babysitting or teaching experience with infants, toddlers, or preschoolers will strengthen your application Join us in creating a joyful, safe environment where children can thrive!
